FLORENCE – The Florence Carlton School District is continuing to deal with wildlife issues.
School officials took to social media to let parents know that mountain lion tracks were found just off of Eight Mile Creek Road in Florence on Saturday.
A trio of mountain lions were spotted on January 9 near a bus stop on Tie Chute Lane near the school.
Back in December, school officials sent out a notice that they had received a report of a bear in the area of Hidden Valley Road South in Florence.
With all of these animal sightings in the area, parents are being advised to take extra precautions with children and pets.
