WHITEFISH – Whitefish High School will provide an internship for students using agriculture to teach them how to succeed in the workplace this Fall.

Whitefish High School math teacher Mark Casazza currently only runs this program on the weekends.

Starting in the fall, Sustainable Agriculture will be a full course preparing students for job expectations.

Students will learn discipline and work ethic through sustainable agriculture techniques like covering crops and adding organic matter.

This is a paid internship program and Casazza bases the student’s wages on their daily work performance and attitude.

He tells us a handful of students are already very interested in the internship.
