UPDATE: MDT reports power has been restored and all signals are now functioning properly.
WHITEFISH: The Montana Department of Transportation is reporting traffic signals in the Whitefish area are down Wednesday afternoon, due to a power outage.
Flathead Electric Cooperative is working to resolve these outages. FEC expects the outages to be repaired by 4:30PM.
Until the power is restored, any signalized intersection without power is to be treated as a stop sign.
Motorists should reduce their speed when approaching signalized intersections in the Whitefish area.
