BILLINGS – A man was stabbed early Tuesday morning in downtown Billings.

The Billings Police Department shared information about the incident via Tweet stating that the incident was reported at 4:44 a.m. Tuesday near the library.

Billings Police Sgt. Tina Hoeger said the 32-year-old had lacerations to his face and neck. He was taken to the hospital.

The severity of the stab wounds, information about a suspect, and his current condition was not released.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
