MISSOULA — A few isolated showers remain in the forecast through early Saturday morning, but mostly cloudy skies will remain over Western Montana early Saturday morning.

Saturday morning we will be waking up to cooler conditions, and rain moves into the Northwest first- around 7-8 AM.

Showers will become widespread through all Western Montana by the late-morning and early-afternoon hours.

Rain is expected to remain in the area through most of the parade and Homecoming game.

Highs on Saturday only reach the low 50s and upper 40s.

Expect to bring a few layers to the game to keep warmer and dry.

Showers move out by Saturday night, and a ridge starts to build into Western Montana.

This high pressure will keep us warm and dry Sunday through Monday.

Highs will finally return to near-normal on Monday, but temperatures take another drop Tuesday as our next system moves in.

Our next system brings widespread showers to Western Montana Tuesday-Wednesday morning.
