83 new COVID-19 cases reported in Montana (Sunday, July 12, 2020)

Montana confirmed 83 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, July 12, out of 1,302 new tests. To date, 114,661 tests have completed, according to the official state website.

The State of Montana officially counts 1,758 cumulative cases. The current number of hospitalizations is 26, with 865 people listed as recovered. Montana currently reports 864 active cases.

NOTE: MTN News includes the data reported by individual Montana counties, which may include cases not counted by the state and different methods for determining recoveries. Based on additional county reporting, as of Sunday morning, MTN counts 1,761 cumulative cases, 782 active cases, and 950 recoveries. We will continue to report the initial state numbers, supplemented by any county data we receive throughout the day.

Yellowstone County reported the most new cases with 55. See below for a complete list of Sunday's new cases by county, gender, and age.

The number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 is now at 29, according to the state's data map.

Ravalli County confirmed its first death due to COVID-19 on Friday, a woman in her 90s.
