MISSOULA — Local public health officials report that a Missoula County resident passed away on Sunday due to complications related to COVID-19 infection.
The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) says that "out of respect for the family's privacy, we cannot provide any additional information about this death other than the individual was middle-aged or older. We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends impacted by this loss."
A total of eight county residents have now passed away due to complications related to COVID-19.
MCCHD is continuing to urge county residents and visitors to continue practicing COVID-19 prevention measures.
