ARLEE — Schools in Arlee are transitioning to remote learning due to COVID-19.

A social media post states that the change is being made because of staffing issues.

“Due to the number of cases of COVID-19 affecting our staff we are unable to adequately cover the positions due to quarantines and isolations,” the statement reads.

The Arlee School District will begin remote learning on Monday, Nov. 23. which will last through Friday, Dec. 4 with all grades working remotely.

Students will return to campus on Monday, Dec. 7.

School district administrators are “recommending students and families stay at home as much as possible until school resumes.”

The Arlee School Board will be convening an emergency board meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to declare a move to remote learning for two weeks.

Additionally, Arlee Junior High School is canceling the remainder of the boy's basketball season.
