Butte-Silver Bow reports 11 more COVID-19 related deaths

BUTTE — The Butte-Silver Bow Health Department reported 11 additional COVID-19 related deaths on Monday.

Six deaths of the deaths are associated with The Springs at Butte assisted living facility, two with Continental Care and Copper Ridge long-term care facilities, and three with the community at large, according to Health Officer Karen Sullivan. No further information about the people who died was available.

This brings the total of deaths due to COVID-19 in Butte-Silver Bow County to 58. The health department reported 131 new COVID-19 cases for the week of Dec. 26-Jan. 1. This brings the total number of cases to 3073, with 112 currently active.
