The Lake County Public Health Department reported in a social media post on Friday that there are currently no confirmed local coronavirus cases

However, there is a person from outside of Lake County jurisdiction who is currently under isolation.

Local health officials say they are in contact with the health department in the person's county of residence.

“Please do not let this cause alarm and panic. Continue to be vigilant in your own social distancing and self protection,” the social media post states.
