HELENA — Gov. Steve Bullock addressed the state to provide an update about the latest information on the pandemic and announce additional directives on Montana’s response to COVID-19.
The governor has extended his earlier closure order until April 10, including the order pertaining to public K-12 schools in Montana.
He also said that restrictions and closures may be extended beyond that date.
In addition, he emphasized that people should maintain "social distancing" practices in order to slow the spread of coronavirus.
Another confirmed coronavirus case is being reported in the Treasure State. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows with this additional case the statewide total sits at 46.
Almost 1,700 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Montana.
Missoula County has six confirmed COVID-19 cases, Flathead County has four and Ravalli County has one.
