MISSOULA — The release of new COVID-19 quarantine instructions from the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has local public health officials working to implement the changes.
The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) states in a social media post that they will first call and release all close contacts who are on day 14 of their quarantine. They will then release those on day 10 who don't have symptoms.
The post says there are hundreds of close contacts that need calls, so it may take some time. MCCHD is asking people not to call the information line asking to be released as they are working on process changes as quickly as possible.
