MISSOULA — An inmate at the Missoula County Detention Facility has tested positive for COVID-19.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jeannette Smith says the jail’s nursing staff is working closely with health officials to identify all close contacts and testing is being coordinated with the Missoula City-County Health Department.
The other inmates within the pod of the positive inmate will also be closely monitored and quarantined. Smith noted that at this time, no other inmates have tested positive for COVID-19.
