MISSOULA — The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) will hold a public vaccination clinic on Thursday at the former Lucky’s Market location in the Southgate Mall.

Approximately 200 first dose COVID-19 vaccine appointments will be available, according to MCCHD.

Appointments will open online at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The link to make appointments will be available here.

MCCHD notes the appointments will be offered online only due to the low number of appointments that are being offered.

Appointments via the phone at (406) 258-INFO in the near future.

It should be noted that appointments are non-transferable and individuals are only allowed to book one appointment per person.

Additionally, Thursday's clinic will not accept walk-ups and appointments are mandatory.

Residents who are successful in booking an appointment will receive a confirmation email within one hour of booking their appointment.

Appointments are only available to county residents who fall into Tier 1 of phase 1B of Montana's COVID-19 vaccination plan.

People who are 70 and older, American Indians ages 16 and older, and people of color ages 16 and older, qualify under Phase 1B.

Phase 1A patients will also continue to be eligible.

MCCHD reports that 11,714 first-doses and 4,419 second-doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered.

To date, there have been a total of 7,902 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Missoula County including 7,642 recoveries at 82 COVID-19 related deaths.
