Montana reports 422 confirmed COVID-19 cases

HELENA — The Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map shows there are 422 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Friday morning.

The previously reported state total on Thursday was 415.

According to state statistics, 233 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and there are currently 21 people hospitalized.

A total of 10,244 tests have been completed, according to the tracking map.

Gov. Steve Bullock’s orders closing public schools and requiring people to stay home -- except for essential activities -- has been extended until April 24.

There have been four COVID-19 related deaths in Toole County, and one each in Flathead, Lincoln, Madison and Missoula counties.
