New COVID-19 case reported in Gallatin County

BOZEMAN — Local health officials announced a new COVID-19 case in Gallatin County during a Thursday morning health meeting.

The new case brings Gallatin County's total to 150. Gallatin City County Board of Health Officer Matt Kelley said the test was confirmed Wednesday night. No other information was released at this time.

The latest Gallatin County case was not being reported by the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map which showed the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Treasure State was at 485.

Three of the four new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday afternoon in Big Horn County.

Thursday's data shows the total number of cases in the state now stands at 484. The state tracking map is reporting 485 cases because of a case is attributed to Jefferson County.

Jefferson County health officials previously reported that the case was not acquired in Montana and the man has not been in contact with anyone in the state.
