Four positive COVID-19 cases on Flathead Reservation confirmed

The three preliminary positive COVID-19 cases on the Flathead Reservation have been confirmed by the Montana State Lab.

On top of that, a fourth positive case was confirmed to be from the Flathead Reservation as well.

Tribal Health officials on the Flathead Indian Reservation have received a report of three preliminary positive COVID-19 cases, according to the Lake County United Command Center.

The County is waiting for confirmation from the Montana Public Health Lab.

Public health nurses have been in contact with the patients and patient's families to identify individuals who were at risk for potential exposure.

Individuals identified as close-contacts have been notified by the Lake County Public Health Department.
