HAMILTON — An additional four confirmed COVID-19 cases are being reported in the Bitterroot Valley.
Ravalli County Public Health reports they received four new cases on Thursday and that there are currently has 24 active cases.
The first new case is a female in her 70s with symptoms and the case is travel related.
The second new case is a female in her 40s with symptoms, likely due to community spread.
The third new case is a male in his 70s with symptoms and is a contact of an active case.
The fourth new case is male in his 50s with symptoms and is a contact of an active case.
Four people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
State health officials report a total of 158 confirmed COVID-19 cases to date with 131 recoveries and two deaths.
If someone has a known exposure to a person with COVID-19, the health department recommends self-quarantining and calling Ravalli County Public Health for further guidance.
