HAMILTON — Local health officials reported on Tuesday afternoon that there are now 17 active COVID-19 cases in Ravalli County -- including two hospitalizations.
Ravalli County Public Health says all 17 people are in isolation.
Contact tracing for these cases has identified close to 150 individuals that have been interviewed and are either awaiting testing or have tests pending.
All of the identified individuals have been given instructions to quarantine for the safety of the community, according to local health officials.
Anyone who has concerns about direct exposure to a known positive case -- who have not been contacted by Ravalli County Public Health -- is asked to call (406) 375-6672.
Health officials are asking that people practice physical distancing, frequent hand washing and to wear a mask in public.
