BOZEMAN - With businesses slowly starting to reopen in phases, it can get a little confusing trying to follow what’s open and what’s not.
So here’s a reminder of what’s opening during phase one:
Last week, places of worship, mainstreet businesses and nonessential businesses could reopen with limitations and guidelines to ensure physical distancing.
Beginning Monday, restaurants, breweries, distilleries and casinos can become operational if strict physical distancing can be maintained, with additional guidelines that limit operations.
The emergency reopening rule for phase one was approved by the Gallatin City-County Board of Health Friday, where the board discussed what factors will be considered when thinking about a phase two transition.
“Factors that we’re going to consider include the ability to monitor new cases adequately and conduct contact tracing, the ability of hospitals and health care providers to treat patients safely, and the ability to test people when they need testing," said Gallatin City-County Health Officer Matt Kelley.
Organized youth activities like gymnastics, dance, bible school and baseball, as well as outdoor recreation can resume so long as social distancing measures can be followed.
Gyms and fitness studios remain closed during this time.
And places of assembly like movie theaters, bowling alleys and music halls are also closed.
