GREAT FALLS — The Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation has implemented a 72-hour lockdown.
The lockdown went into effect at 10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, and will continue until Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 6 a.m.
The Rocky Boy Health Center incident command team and Chippewa Cree Tribe announced the lockdown on Friday.
The news came one day after announcing that two people had died due to "contributing factors related to COVID-19."
The 'red threat level four' means a total shutdown on the reservation, and only essential workers are allowed to be out. Travel is limited during this time, and social gathering are prohibited.
