MISSOULA — A staffer at the Partnership Health Center (PHC) in Missoula has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Center -- which remains open -- was notified on Thursday that a clinical staff member tested positive for COVID-19, according to a news release.

The Missoula City-County Health Department is working to identify close contacts and will individually notify any person who is determined to be a close contact.

PHC states that during "the COVID-19 pandemic, PHC has proactively and strictly followed CDC and health department guidance to keep our patients, staff and community safe."

Those measures "allowed PHC to successfully identify and isolate the affected staff member on the first day they developed symptoms," according to the release.

The affected staff member did not interact with any patients while exhibiting symptoms.
