COLUMBUS — Stillwater County reported two new COVID-19-related deaths on Monday.
One was a man in his 70s and the other a man in his 80s. Stillwater County health officials did not say when each man died.
Stillwater County has now reported six COVID-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic.
“Our heart-felt condolences go out to the families of these patients. We are experiencing a growth in active cases and it’s imperative that we all do our part. We will continue to do everything we can to help our patients and we urge full community support and assistance in slowing this virus," said Dr. Cody White, Stillwater County public health medical director, said in a news release.

Stillwater County reports two more COVID-19 related death in Stillwater County, bringing our total deaths to six.
Both individuals were males, one in their 70’s and one in their 80’s, who passed away from complications of COVID-19.

Stillwater County Public Health wants to remind our community about the importance of staying at home when sick, washing hands frequently, safe physical distancing, and wearing masks when in public spaces. As community members, family, and friends, we must all work together to protect our most vulnerable individuals.
