HELENA – A 41-year-old Helena man is accused of raping a woman.
According to court documents, Robert Wayne Watt was sleeping on the couch at the woman’s residence.
She told police that on September 23, she had taken her prescribed sleeping medication, and went to bed fully clothed. When she woke up, she found her clothes and underwear had been removed.
The next night when she woke up, she says she found Watt in her bed naked. She confronted him the next day and contacted police.
Watt has been charged with one count of sexual intercourse without consent and one count of sexual assault, both are felonies.
