MISSOULA – A Washington state man wanted in the murder of a 20-year-old Spokane woman earlier this week was arrested in Missoula on Wednesday.

Bryce Thompson, 19,  appeared in Missoula Justice Court on Friday afternoon. He’s being held in Missoula jail on a fugitive warrant. Judge Alex Beal set his bond at $1 million.

CBS affiliate KREM-TV in Spokane reports Thompson is accused of killing Alyssa Dodd at a northwest Spokane home on Wednesday.

Spokane Police said they filed paperwork to charge him with first degree murder.

Thompson is fighting extradition back to Washington state.  He will appear in Missoula District Court sometime next week.
