BUTTE — Butte police for the first time cited a person accused of violating the state's social distancing order.
A resident in the 500 block of South Main Street is accused of having a party at his residence with at least 15 people present late Sunday evening.
The unnamed resident was given a misdemeanor citation for obstructing a peace officer.
Police say the resident was given two prior warnings in recent days.
