GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Police Department said on Friday that Dyllan Porter has been taken into custody. Last Friday, the GFPD issued an alert about Porter, saying that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Today, the agency said that Porter and several other people were taken into custody by a team of officers from the GFPD, US Marshals Service, Cascade County Sheriff's Office, and MT Department of Corrections Probation & Parole. The names of the other people taken into custody have not yet been released.

No details about the apparent arrests have been released at this point; if Porter and/or the others are charged, we will get the court documents and post an update, likely early next week.
