MISSOULA — The Missoula County Attorneys Office says there have been some delays in coroner's inquests due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst says that they have a “handful of coroner’s inquest cases pending," such as the recent officer-involved shooting of Jesse Brown on Sherwood lane earlier this month.
She went on to say that they have postponed some inquests due to the pandemic and that they plan on scheduling those as soon as they are feasible.
No time table is given on when the inquests will be rescheduled but Pabst says they will continue to reevaluate as the situation improves.
