GREAT FALLS — Zachariah Blaze Daniels of Great Falls has been charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year child.
The victim was forensically interviewed by detectives and provided graphic details of three assaults. The court documents state that the child was hesitant, scared, and emotional during the interview, and the child's "fear of Zachariah was obvious."
The child claimed that Zachariah has told her in the past, "I will literally beat the crap out of you."
Daniels, 35, was later questioned and denied all of the allegations.
Court documents state that Daniels continually denied any sexual assaults, but the detective stated that Daniels lied multiple times about other things during the interview, such as if he was in a relationship with anyone. Daniels later became defensive and stated that the victim lies.
The charging documents state that Daniels has felony convictions for partner/family member assault (PFMA) and violation of a protective order. There is also a pending case of PFMA, kidnapping, and burglary.
Prosecutors requested that bail for Daniels be set at $150,000.
