SANDERS COUNTY — A new wildfire is burning in Sanders County.
In a social media post by Sanders County Wildand Fire Information a wildfire has been reported about 10 miles up Thompson River on the west side of the drainage.
The fire has been named the Sundance Fire.
The blaze was initially responded to on Monday night and the Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District has several firefighters with a water tender on scene.
