KALISPELL – The second annual Women’s March will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan.19 in Kalispell at Depot Park to promote equality, democracy and public lands.

This march will coincide with women’s marches around the country.

The women’s group began making signs on Jan. 16 for the rally.  Those who chose to participate in the Women’s March are asked to wear red to recognize murder and missing indigenous women in Montana.

However, a counter protest group intends to make an appearance during the march. According to a press release sent to us by organizers of the group, they intend to show local support at Depot Park for President Trump.

Members of the counter protest group are being asked to stay on the sidewalk, as the counter protest group does not hold an event permit for Depot Park that day.
