The Montana Sportsman’s Expo was expecting to attract thousands of attendees and with over 80 vendors setting up shop over the weekend and brothers, George and Dennis Johnson couldn’t be more excited.
Offering fishing, hunting and boating gear and trips the expo was not to be missed. After visiting other sporting expos, the Johnson brothers wanted to bring their experience home.
However, eight years ago ownership of the expo was dropped. When the Johnson brothers found out, they stepped up to help. As Flathead natives, they had ties to the community and were able to piece the expo back together.
“I mean it’s really cool, it’s all of our friends and family anyways and it’s business associates we’ve had over the years and other outdoorsmen that enjoy Montana and everything we do,” Johnson.
The Expo was held at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell.
