KALISPELL – Over 3,200 residents in the Flathead Valley were without power Wednesday due to gusty winds in the area.
Flathead Electric Cooperative reported on their website that there were 16 outages impacting 3,200 customers in the Whitefish and Columbia Falls areas, but that latter number fell to just over 150 customers by Wednesday evening.
Whitefish Fire Department also posted on their Facebook page that their crews are out on multiple calls of downed trees and power lines.

They ask people be patient and to steer clear of any emergency crews working or hazards you might come across.
A previously reported power outage in Plains has also been repaired.
