MISSOULA — Cold and flu season is in full swing, and if you still haven't gotten your shot, then Imagine Nation Brewing might be the perfect place to spend your Friday night.
The brewery has partnered up with the Missoula City-County Health Department to give out free flu shots to the public.
The event is happening Friday night until 8 p.m. at the brewery.
So, if you want to grab a cold one and protect yourself from getting sick all at the same time, this presents a unique opportunity.
"Yes, you can have a beer and then have a flu shot," said Bradley Applegate, a registered nurse and infectious disease specialist with the Missoula City County Health Department.
"I certainly hope that nobody has several beers or is intoxicated when they’re getting the flu shot, but if you have a beer while you fill out paperwork to check in and then get a flu shot, that would be just fine," he added.
