Firefighters once again provided a helping hand to kids in Great Falls through "Operation Warm."

They gave away more than 100 coats to children at Head Start in Great Falls.

Each student got to pick a color they wanted

David Van Son, a battalion chief with Great Falls Fire Rescue, said he and his team love being apart of this annual program.

“It’s actually one of our favorite programs that we do, to see the smiles on these kids face to receive a brand-new warm coat and knowing that the winter - actually, anytime of the year in Montana - could get pretty cold, knowing that these kids actually have a coat to keep warm, is pretty satisfying.”
