Montana Farmers Union and STEM FUSE have teamed up to provide free online courses for kindergarteners through 12th graders.

Montana Farmers Union President Walter Schweitzer says providing services like these to the public is what their mission is all about.

“Montana Farmers Union is about family farms. It's about our community and what we do to help promote our community and interests in our community,” Schweitzer said.

Schweitzer said Montana Farmers Union has partnered with STEM FUSE, a company that specializes in online education, to offer agricultural courses to the public in years past, but both organizations felt it was important to provide free access to all course subjects this year.

“Because of COVID, some kids might have slipped through the cracks a bit on their educational experience. So this is like a great opportunity,” Schweitzer said.

Online classes are available in math, English, science, and even agricultural subjects, to appeal to a variety of educational interests.

There are several programs available to each grade level, provided for free through July first.

For more information on the program, you can contact either the Montana Farmers Union Education Coordinator or Education Assistant.
