BIGFORK — Flathead County residents are still cleaning up from last week's wind storm that damaged power lines and trees.
Property owner Jessica Jochen told MTN News that several days after the storm, her family is still busy cleaning up. Jochen and her family have lived in the Flathead Valley for 18 years and she's never seen a storm do this much damage.
"Not only did trees fall on her garage cutting power, there is also no electricity for her chicken coop. Because of this, Jochen constantly monitors the chicken coop, ensuring the chickens are warm and have food and water."
As of right now, she says clean up could take months and has no time line on when power will be restored to her garage and chicken coop.
