Flathead County officials announced in a press release Friday that the county will be following the phased reopening guidelines issued by the State of Montana.
“We however, encourage citizens to continue to practice social distancing measures. Even with businesses beginning to reopen, now is not the time to relax efforts that have helped slow the spread of the virus to date in our community,” said Commissioner Randy Brodehl. “We ask the community to continue to be responsible. The last thing we want is to be forced to shut down again.”
Flathead County would also like to thank all of the community members for their willingness to follow social distancing guidelines and appreciates their patience during these recent difficult times.
“Due to the efforts of our incident command team and the sacrifices from our community members, the County and State are confidently able to begin phase 1 of the reopening process, so thank you,” said Brodehl.
