KALISPELL — Millions of visitors head to Glacier National Park each year and the Montana Trolley Company is looking to alleviate congestion in and around the popular destination.

Scott Davis founded Montana Trolley Company seven years ago. Primarily doing events like weddings, birthdays and anniversaries Davis now wants to use his company to alleviate traffic in the corridor area leading to Glacier National Park.

Right now, Davis says public transportation around the corridor area consisting of Hungry Horse, Coram and Martin City is limited so during the height of tourist season he wants to partner with local businesses supplying transportation for people around the area.

"We did an estimate for the four months it'll roughly run. We're saying $310 per business per month, but we only got 180 businesses to be involved. If we got all of them, it would probably knock it down to two hundred dollars a month for each business," explained Davis.

Davis says each nostalgic trolley seats 30 people.

If every business agrees to help with the cost, Davis' hope is to have the trolley running by next spring. If you would like to partner with Scott and Montana Trolley Company, call (406) 212-8439.
