WHITEFISH — A Whitefish woman is organizing people in the Flathead Valley to help immunocompromised and elderly people.
Whitefish resident Emily Jensen set up a Facebook page for those in the Flathead Valley to reach out for any help during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Jensen says she monitors the page 24 hours a day.
Right now, she told MTN that people who reach out to her need help grocery shopping and refilling medications.
Many of those people can't leave their homes right now because of the coronavirus.
"I try and fill in those gaps and find those that are healthy enough to go to the store, or fill a prescription or whatever the errand may be," said Jensen "So, that these people that are medically fragile that could get sick faster than the rest of us, aren't exposed."
Jensen says she will continue to do this as long as people need her help.
