This is the first group of its kind in Great Falls, providing moms or moms to be with support when it comes to mood changes and anxiety.

Kim Bodily a counselor at the YWCA says she wants to provide a space for women to get the motherly support they so freely give.

Kim said, "I feel like this population of women tend to get over looked in the mental health world and especially in rural communities where are access to mental health services is kind of limited."

Support groups create a safe environment for women to share and validate their experiences, learn from one another, receive encouragement, support and share healing strategies.

The groups first meeting was January 20th and is held every Moday at 7:00 p.m.
