MISSOULA — Idaho State Police said a Salmon man who was critically injured when the car he was riding in plunged into the Salmon River has died at a Missoula hospital.
22-year-old Conner P. McGarrity had been taken by air ambulance to Missoula following the crash Monday evening along U.S. 93 south of Salmon just north of Ellis.

Both were taken to Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon, with McGarrity being flown later to Missoula, where he succumbed to his injuries today.
