MISSOULA — Art galleries in Missoula are getting back to "normal" after being closed for so long.

4 Ravens Gallery on Higgins has been operating since 2012, and said the month it had to close is the hardest its ever been hit.

Owners sid they're a little nervous to reopen, but are complying with social distancing and requiring everyone to wear masks.

Partial owner Justin Stewart said business has been slow, but people from out of town are starting to come in.

"On a financial level, a lot of artists have been impacted really hard. Art shows not happening right now, retail outlets being pressed, it's been difficult for a lot of people," Stewart said.

But, he said, it's given him time to focus on making art.

The gallery is almost back to pre-shutdown hours, open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
