MISSOULA — Two people were arrested after fleeing police following a Friday evening incident in Missoula.
Missoula Police received a report from a business on North Reserve Street reporting that an employee was being threatened with a knife.
The suspect attempted to flee the business in a vehicle and a pursuit followed. Missoula Police Sgt. Matt Stonesifer says the suspect's vehicle failed to negotiate a corner and crashed into an MPD vehicle.
The suspect -- and a passenger -- then fled on foot before being taken into custody.
Ashley Hartzell, a 36-year-old from Washington is being held on charges of criminal endangerment and robbery. The passenger -- whose name has not been released -- is being held on a felony warrant.
