RONAN — A CBD manufacturer in Ronan is shifting priorities during the outbreak by making hand sanitizer instead.
Green Ridge Biosolutions usually makes CBD-infused lotions and cosmetics but when employees noticed the lack of hand sanitizer, they realized they could make that too.
The business has already made more than 2,000 bottles and began handing them out around town earlier this week.
The product is also now for sale.
COO Sam Belanger said that with disruptions to normal business his employees can focus on making the hand sanitizer.
"We'll have folks filling them, capping them, labeling them, and other folks shipping. We'll get as many out as possible, as fast as possible."
Belanger said they already went through the first 2,000 bottles, but will have more bottles by the end of this week.
