HAMILTON — Bitterroot National Forest offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) and Wednesday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day).
President Trump issued an Executive Orderclosing Federal offices Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019.
Regular office hours will resume Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2, respectively.
Permits to harvest a Christmas tree on the Bitterroot National Forest are still available.
Permits can be obtained at Forest Service offices and local vendors.
