The Walk for MS in Billings was originally scheduled for Saturday, but because of COVID-19 and stay at home orders, the organization decided to go virtual.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society hosted the on-line fund-raiser.
Participants could send pictures of their walks with proper distancing.
Many pictures are of walks with family.
Walk for M-S normally happens at St. John's United, but even without the large gathering, the virtual walk can still help those with M-S.
"Especially for us living with MS, we've made great friends over the years and sometimes walk is the only time we see them," said Lora Waid, MS Support Group Facilitator. "And you share your triumphs. you share your challenging days. and then just seeing the support from the people that sponsor us and donate to the cause."
Virtual Walk MS pictures will be posted through June 30 on the MS website .
