MISSOULA – The Missoula City Council will vote a conditional use permit to construct a new YWCA Family Housing Center and Domestic Violence Shelter on Monday evening.

The YWCA is proposing to redevelop the property located at 1800 South Third Street West with a facility that houses YWCA offices, a 13-room Domestic Violence Shelter and a 25-room Family Housing Center.

The 36,790 square foot, three-story building would house homeless families and domestic violence survivors near Sussex School, between Third and Second streets.

The Missoula City Council will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the council chambers located at 140 West Pine Street.
