MISSOULA – The Missoula County Commissioners held their first meeting of the new year Wednesday morning and a familiar face was not present.
Josh Slotnick took over for three-term county commissioner Jean Curtiss after Slotnick defeated Curtiss in June’s primary battle.
Now Slotnick will figure out his role on the county commissioners board as they decide which county boards each commissioner will be assigned to.
That process should take a week or two, according to the board.
Also at Wednesday’s meeting, the board named their new chair who will be Cola Rowley.
Rowley takes over for the previous chair Dave Strohmaier.
