MISSOULA – The 13th annual Project Community Connect is less than three weeks away, and organizers are seeking help from the community.

Held on Feb. 1 at Zootown Church, Project Community Connect is an event that provides essential services to those experiencing, or who are at risk, of homelessness.

Items and services including clothing, toiletries, medical and dental care, food, and haircuts will be available to those in need.

The focus right now is on gently used clothing items, along with blankets and backpacks.

“Sweaters, long-sleeve shirts, long pants, warm socks, winter hats, coats, gloves, anything that can be helpful to somebody who is experiencing homelessness or is at risk of homelessness,” said Community and Planning Services Grants Administrator Sindie Kennedy.

Donations can be made at any Missoula Federal Credit Union locations as well as REI, the Missoula Public Library, the Missoula Food Bank, and Community Medical Center.
